Solution

Engineered a robust BI system using Oracle Database 11g on Oracle Linux, implementing advanced concurrency management and high-availability protocols. I transformed raw retail data into an optimized Data Warehouse schema, which was then visualized through Tableau for actionable insights. To ensure inclusivity, I integrated specific UI/UX considerations for accessibility and adhered to strict ethical data management standards.

  • Architectural Design: Deployed a high-availability backend on Oracle Linux 6.7 with optimized Concurrency Control to handle simultaneous read/write loads.
  • Schema Modeling: Designed a Star Schema within Oracle 11g to simplify complex retail queries and improve join performance.
  • Visualization: Connected the warehouse to Tableau to build real-time executive dashboards for sales performance and inventory tracking.
